Regional Privacy and Consumer Rights

Language alone does not determine jurisdiction. Establishment, targeting, residence, business thresholds and statutory exceptions can matter. Applicable regional protections take priority over conflicting general provisions. Rights not expressly listed here remain available.

Where GDPR applies, access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal rights apply subject to their conditions. Requests normally receive a response within one month; a permitted extension of up to two additional months is explained in time. You can complain to the competent authority, including where you live, work or the alleged infringement occurred.

Mandatory national digital-content and consumer remedies remain available. General acceptance is not a waiver of cancellation rights. Sensitive-data conditions, international transfer safeguards and any representative duties remain separate requirements.

For online-service processing based on consent, GDPR Article 8 sets the age of independent consent at 16 unless national law lowers it, to no less than 13. Below that applicable age, authorisation by the holder of parental responsibility must be verified through reasonable efforts. Contract necessity is assessed separately and does not remove national contract-capacity rules or special-category requirements.

Applicable UK data-protection and consumer rules govern your rights, request handling, sensitive information and overseas disclosures. You may contact the Information Commissioner and exercise available judicial remedies; EU documentation is not automatically a substitute for UK requirements.

The UK age for independent online-service consent is 13 where consent is the basis. Children’s Code protections can apply to services likely to be used by people below 18: understandable information, minimisation and protective defaults matter separately from that consent age. No profile photograph is imported automatically for a new social-login account; adding a public photograph is optional and explained where it is chosen.

Where Swiss data-protection law applies, its transparency, access, correction and other applicable protections supplement the main notice. Sensitive information and international disclosures are assessed under Swiss requirements. Complaints can be raised with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

• FDPIC

Where the CCPA/CPRA covers Plivex, eligible consumers have the applicable rights to know/access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or sharing and limit covered sensitive-data uses, without unlawful discrimination. Authorised agents may submit requests with proportionate verification. The usual substantive response period is 45 days; a permitted extension is explained.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so no such transaction requires an opt-out in the current service. An applicable opt-out preference signal remains effective for any covered activity. The main notice describes the categories, sources, purposes and recipients of current processing.

• California privacy rights

Applicable state access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out and appeal rights are preserved according to each law’s scope. Washington and Nevada consumer-health laws can cover fitness information outside medical records. Federal or state breach-notification duties are assessed separately.

To appeal a refused request, email “Privacy appeal” with its reference. We respond within the applicable state period and explain any required regulator complaint route.

Plivex is not directed to children under 13. If we obtain actual knowledge of an under-13 account, we follow the COPPA requirements applicable to that case, including stopping unlawful collection and deleting information where required. We do not treat a self-declared age or a policy statement as verifiable parental consent. Additional state protections for teenagers remain applicable within each law’s scope.

• Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Where PIPEDA or provincial law applies, accountability, meaningful consent, appropriate purposes, safeguards and applicable access and correction rights govern the service. Sensitive information and disclosures abroad are subject to the relevant requirements. Mandatory Quebec privacy, consumer and language rights are not waived by choosing English.

Where China’s Personal Information Protection Law applies, information about children under 14 is sensitive personal information and requires parental or guardian consent and specific protection rules. A store content rating and acceptance of these Terms do not authorise this processing. Our current account flow does not obtain that parental consent: contact us before providing such information. Applicable separate-consent and cross-border requirements are not replaced by these terms.

Indian privacy requirements apply according to their scope and commencement dates. The Digital Personal Data Protection framework includes specific protections for children and verified parental consent, subject to statutory exceptions. Where those provisions apply to your use, a store content rating does not override them and this account flow does not claim to supply the required verification. Brazil, Mexico, other American countries, Australia, New Zealand, Russia and other countries have their own mandatory privacy and consumer requirements. This notice does not remove any applicable local right or claim that a store listing determines legal compliance. Russian-language regional provisions may also apply to an English-speaking user.
